Alcohol Beverages Australia (ABA) is proud to represent the interests of Australia’s beer, wine, cider, and spirit producers and those that sell and serve them. The vast majority of our industry are small or micro producers. There are around 700 craft brewers, 2,200 small winemakers, and 300 distilleries in Australia. And our hospitality venue and retail stores are equally diverse, with around 60,000 restaurants, bars, clubs, and bottle-shops holding a liquor licence.
Many Australians get their first jobs in the hospitality or retail sector, and go on to great careers, establishing their own small businesses and employing people of their own. Our members are some of Australia and the world’s leading producers and retailers, and see it as their responsibility to take a leadership role on behalf of the entire sector to ensure its sustainability.
